My name is
Haley and I just recently (mid-November) turned 15. Pretty young, huh? I spend much, probably too much, of my time of vexels, but what can I say, the artists on here are AMAZING!
I currently reside in a little suburb of Orlando, Florida. I've lived between this town and a small town in Southern Indiana my whole life, moving back and forth between the years. Well, I've lived in Nashville for like...less than 6 months and I lived in Illinois(sp?) when I was really little, but you probably don't care to know my childhood homes. I'm in 9th grade/freshman and I've been to
ten different schools in my lifetime! I've got 3 dogs; a chocolate lab named Sammy(almost 3 years), a weiner dog named Molly(2 years?), and a mix/mutt named Maggie(6 years). I've also got 2 cats; a
FAT Siamese cat named Simon and a little kitten named Kitty. I have a small temper usually and get mad, sad, and frustrated really easily. But usually, I'm pretty happy and all. I love reading. My favourite book is..well, I don't know because there are TONS. I love the Harry Potter series and A Series of Unfortunate Events.
As said before, I'm in 9th grade/freshman/first year in high school(secondary school). I'm currently taking Graphic Design courses in school. When I graduate, I plan on going to a tech-school or good college and study further into graphic arts and become a Freelance Graphic Designer. I've been interested in computer art for as long as I can remember, drawing on Paint as a young child. Over summer '05, I learnt how to vexel. I didn't use a tutorial. I asked a friend, Brittany on here, what you use and she told me the pen tool and layers and explained how to use them right. Then I made my first vexel, which you can see in my gallery here. Even though I'm nowhere near being as good as vexelists list Linda, Sarah, Ilaria, and some of the others on here, I know I am improving alot since my first, and for that, I'm very proud of myself. I am impatient, however. I hardly ever complete vexels. On my school computer, I have 6 incomplete vexels and at home, I've got 6-7. Unless I get really motivated or inspired, I'm likely not to finish vexels.

Heyy =) For tears, I usually make a long wavy-ish line thats black but set the mode to soft light and turn the opacity down a little, then i go back in and use white and just put a little highlight on the edge of the bottom of the tear (depending on where the light is supposed to be coming from) and set that layer mode to soft light & turn down the opacity
I hope I explained that well enough lol

I really tought that I've downloaded it for free. I'm very sorry for this misunderstanding.

Thanks! Usually, I create a block of colour for the entire hair. Then I create smaller blocks of different shades on different layers. Each layer has varying opacities. I then create smaller and smaller blocks, until they're so small that I have strands of hair to do.
Haha, that probably made NO sense whatsoever, sorry. :( I guess I'd lay down the base colours of the hair, then work on the detailed strands of hair.

Even if you get your ears out and listen to Jay Z , you will realize that the man does not just do mainstream Hip Hop. He has something to say. Don't fall for what the media projects about Hip Hop being about bling and bullshit. That's just the stereotype made up to categorize people.
