The name is Aubri and I've been working with graphics for about five years now, on and off. I currently own Photoshop CS, Imageready CS, Illustrator 5.5, Corel Draw, Corel Paint, Flash and a few other programs that I haven't even looked into yet. My main tools of the trade are Photoshop and Imageready. I'm fifteen years old and currently a sophomore in highschool. My passions are writing, softball and graphic design. Just recently I've become addicted to both looking at and creating vectors. I create blends, draw, manipulate things, take photographs, walk on the beach to poke dead things with long sticks, breathe and most recently I have tried my hand at vectoring. I have this thing. . . I really don't like it when people create vectors that are so close to the real thing that you can't even tell the difference between the actual photograph and the vexeled image. What's the point? If it's going to be so close, then just use the original image. I'm not saying that vexels can't be realistic. In all reality, they should be realistic, but still maintain a cartoon,"I'm not real, though you might think I am upon first glance" feel. The best vexels are ones that you know aren't real images, yet they have so much detail and time incorporated into them that they just possibly could be damn real. Gah, it's hard to explain. =] If you wish, you can contact me through e-mail at xxxfalloutgirlx@yahoo.com or at my aim sn: RAWRR x3 i RAWK (will soon be changed to dangxxletsbang). You can also find me at Deviantart under the account: dangxxletsbang.
