Hey All, My Name is Sean Hurwitz, I'm 15, Jewish and live in South Africa.
Actually I forgot how i actually stumbled across this site, but it was a great find. because this site is so perfectly balanced. Not too many submissions a day like DeviantArt, but not too little activity, enough to actually leave, like many other sites. nah, this is a great community with talent. i like talent. I don't consider myself the greatest vexeller, and i'm sure y'all can agree to that, but hey, practice is everything. I've been playing golf for six months now, and i got my first par today, june 04 2006. actually two. The first one was complimented by a miracle putt. which was also a sight for sore eyes. but the moral is that practicing will get you anywhere. My Birthday is June 22nd and at that time I hope to get a camera. So i can take my own pics, upload them to my PC, trace em (or vexel em), silhouette, and ipod. HAHA that's trendwhoring too much, hey? I Work with Adobe Illustrator 12. I was on this one site, and they had a (at that time i thought) great vector artist (well he gets paid for his stuff so yeah, still great). So after many attempts at sigs, spacescapes and 3-d renders, i finally figured out vector was my type of style (i mean, come on. vectors are so smooth, so clean. i friggin love em :D I just wish my room could be like that). So after I heard of the program I had to get it. How did I? Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speal no Evil. Just kidding. So the first thing I did was trace an image of Cloud Strife and silhouette it. It was excellent learning experience at the pen tool. It got me off to a good start. Oh yeah I almost forgot the thing that made it all possible.. My Ipod. i mean come on. No music = No Motivation = Crappy Work. So when I began vectoring I vowed to myself never to vector a human. That was easily broken, lol. But it's just so addictive. But One does know it must stop. We need less of "for the hell of it" and more conceptual. Then I discovered Vexelling. OMG what a discovery. You guys are awesome, and whoever made it up is also awesome. Although I never got around to using photoshop's pen tool (MEH, MEH, it's just... really hard for me. Illustrator's much simpler imo) I don't ask much in life but all I want is to be appreciated. I look for sites to be appreciated at and this site kinda pinpoints it for me, so thanks again, linda.. yeah i am still sorta new here. So whoever visits here, thanks for checking out my userpage, and even If i dont reply to userpage comments, you know i dont mean to, but still, i never do, unless there are too many to handle..
