I was pretty worried about putting this up here cos alotof you would say "thats posterized" when it isnt. (FYI the smoothed posterized original is here)
this is the first time ever that i have used the posterised colours. I orifinally didnt plan to but i couldnt work out the shades for the face since there were so many shadows so I just went with it thinking it looked good.
If your gonna criticise it cos its too 'posterized' go ahead I dont care, at least I know myself this is 100% vexel, I have seen many of you artists out there criticise just cos something looks wierd cos of the colours etc...blah blah.
this took me about 2 weeks on and off (so really 4 days) as I am working on three other pieces on the side
it has about 600+ layers using the pen tool in PSP9. My favourite part (and easiest) was the face, my least fave part is the dress. It looks all blotchy and wrong and looks like an army print gone wrong :S. I also hate how I did the stockings even though that was the whole reason I wanted to do this pic.
Comments and criticism welcome, I dont care if you hate it or love it

yey lol im so happy i hope photoshop cs is as good as psp for vexels lol but yeah im glad u nearly finished year 12 and congrats on highest english :)
i think that is awesome and i don't think it looks posterized. i love how you did the face and that you could make it look like half of her face is in the shadow (sorry i don't know how to explain it). i think that is extremely hard to get to look right.
the dress looks great but it's a little blurry
great work!
Did you smooth the dress? Because it looks really O_O
But I like it anyhoo! Good job xD

no i didnt smooth it i just followed the posterised lines but then added more layers on top and lowered the transparencies to mkae it look smooth and blended (and to try hide my choppiness haha)
thanks for comment :p
Ah, this is pretty! :)
You can tell that it's vexelled, the lines are so smooth. And the colours do look really good. :)

ah thankyou at least u can tell
i was so worried people would not see that as i have never done this style before and when i showed my bf he said it looked like a real picture and not a vexel lol so i was stressed haha
thanks
