| i have to take a moment to say something i really need to get off my chest. most of you wont care, and maybe im being too personal, but i just feel that i need to say this. like i said, a close friend of mine passed away a couple days ago, and out of general loss/sadness and also just respect for her, i was not going to continue in this contest. i feel very disappointed in myself, for not trying to celebrate her life and instead just sitting around on the comp all day and pushing her to the back of my mind so i could finish the piece. (which is what i had to do in order to even get this done; i felt like if i let my thoughts about her surface i would have some sort of total malfunction, and i am amazed with myself for even being able to finish. part of me wished i wouldnt be able to.) i'm disappointed to the point where if the other girls were not involved in the contest, and didnt already work so hard on their own pieces, i would probably take myself out of the running. kudos to the other girls though; they did a great job. in conclusion: if my piece looks halfassed, this is why. if i seem bitter at all, this is why. if our team wins and i dont even show up and say "oh yay" a week from now, this is why. please remember that my attitude right now does not reflect on the rest of my team's. i really hope that my attitude does not make people not want to vote for us. i probably wont even be coming back to the site (as i planned on before when i was still using "nemesis" as my handle), so goodbye. |

Lillemor, Mac, KahlieRain, Zummi, Nocturne Team 2 - picture 4ngel/Lynh, Ilaria, Eldvakt/Frida, Tiana, Echoia Team 3 - picture lilvdzwan/Lilly, Raelynn, Ninjahobbit, Mattness/Matt, spazzysazzy/Sarah Team 4 - picture Kyla, Anna, Carina, Radioslutx ***The final results*** TEAM 1: 185 points total - 5 points (compromise) - 17 points (by other teammembers, not allowed) **TOTAL: 163 POINTS** TEAM 2: 250 points total - 7 points (by other teammembers, not allowed) **TOTAL: 243 POINTS** TEAM 3: 154 points total - 4 points (by other teammembers, not allowed) **TOTAL: 150 POINTS** TEAM 4: 162 points total - 5 points (compromise) - 8 points (by other teammembers, not allowed) **TOTAL: 149 POINTS** ***AND THE WINNERS ARE*** TEAM 1 AND TEAM 2 CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I wanted to make it harder for both teams this time! Bigger challenge! A real battle! Savelist: Manda THE RULES 01: You may not post any progressions 02: Every member of your team must make a part of the picture 03: You may not post your work in your gallery or in the collaboration gallery during the battle period 04: Teams may not vote 05: Every team has to send the file before the deadline, when your team is late you may not participate in the battle and the other team wins automatically 06: If you break ANY of these rules you will be disqualified from the battle and the other team wins automatically Contact your teammembers as soon as possible, so you can discuss what your team's strategy will be!! DEADLINE FINAL BATTLE IS FRIDAY 10th MARCH And voting will last one week Important note to the teamcaptains that are going to send me the file - Please let me know which teammember has done which part of the picture - Write a short description that I can add to the collab for your team when I upload everything *** NEW BATTLES *** The sign up period for the new battles will start on saturday 18th March! Not only males, they also look extremely hard to vexel for some reason. I honestly don't think we will win this battle ...team 2 is a great team. :P hm .. not sure who I wanna do ...2, 3 or 4??? ;P |
