| Okay, so for Echo, my name is now Matty Matt-Matt Mattleson. :) I don't really know how to say how we pronounce it though. I'll post once I figure out how to say that. :P |

| Heh, I always pronouce 'Matthew' as 'Mach-OOO!' (with the exclamation mark!) Unless I think about it/when I know I'm doing it. :P (and it's this thing where I kept calling my friend that and it kind of.. grew =p) | ||

| ^ My thoughts exactly. Like, in 'ice' (tw-ice, etc etc etc), there is more the sound that in dutch would be 'ai', or 'aai'.. am I making sense? :P | ||

| @Andrea und Mattijs Mattjis reminds me of a fish, btw. xD Ermm.. do you think that we german-speakers pronounce it the same way?? Eh, here's a big thing going on,... everybodys wondering how to pronounce it. Duh... Okay, Echo hun. I'll set up a story. So: My full name is Berit Lena ...it was supposed to be Berit Uwe since Uwe was my uncle. ( And my best friend too, ... RIP. ); ) My sisters name is Selma Linde. My moms Britta and my fathers Gottfried. We all go by scandinavien names and we don't even know why. Honestly, we don't know why. My grandpa had some relatives over there in the north and ... somehow we all got scandinavien names. Which is VERY rare here in Austria and when I was like 8 years old children wouldn't stop teasing me. Poor berit, I know. d; I got to look up in the dictionary what it means again, I forgot it. Haha.. If I had been male my name would've been "Till" (Ew!!) / "Tristan" ... Haha. My Mom is weeeeird. But I still love her. |

| Hey My name is Taylor some people call me Tay or if you don't know how to pronounce T- AAYY-lor people call me Tyler but Im not Tyler, Im Taylor or Tay, You can choose lol. Lets see some interesting things about my name oohh well I have a funny storry about my last name. My Last name is Hooks yes like I need some fish hooks to go fishing ANYWAYS In seventh grade I had the coolest teacher for my homeroom class he was funny and sweet and was the kind of teacher that sort of picked on (in a nice way) on his students, like in a friend sort of way. One day he was mixing up peoples last names sort of making them crazy funny like if someones last name was Thomas (pronounced TOM ASS) he would pronounce the TH sound ect. So when he called on me for something he called me Taylor Hooker...yes Taylor Hooker, He didn't realize what he had said until 5 sec after he had said it, it was the funniest thing ever, and that was my first and only day as a Hooker ;) | ||

| My name is... Shelley. (Hooray.) EXCEPT, everyone spells it SHELLY (Without the extra "e" at the end)! So many people have done that, that sometimes even i forget to put in the "e", as well. :( I don't really like my name; it's so... strange. And everyone always pulls those "Sea-shell" tongue twisters on me :(. And they make up the most annoying nicknames (My sister calls me Shell-Bell, or Shelley-belly.) Some other nicknames include Jelly Bean, Shell, Sheila (Wtf? My tennis coach calls me that.). My chinese name is Xie Au Lin, if that spices things up? :D Or, if you really want to, you can just call me Cho. *Flips hair.* (All you non-vortexans probably wouldn't get it if you didn't see my picture post at Vortex ;P.) |

| hi im Patrisha. i hate my name with a passion. i just dont think it fits me. and its spelled weird. not Patricia.. Patrisha.. :/ i went to the same school for 5 years and they still spelled it wrong. and then the nicknames.. patty, pat, patty cakes, patty pumpkin eater. lmao i dont have any special stories.. all i kno is that my dad named me Patricia, but my mom didnt want me to be named after an ex girlfriend so she changed the spelling -.- and i dont have a middlename.. everyone else does except for me *pouts* |

I've met like ten different Emelies (some with varying spelling, but still pronounced the same) in the past couple of years, and it's always annoying to not be sure if people are calling you or some of the other Emelies. So I've developed a habit of not listening when people call my name :P And, I still have not managed to find a suitable nickname, after all of the years of not being the only one with my name, even if I've tried a couple of times, it's still plain old Emelie :P i coach a gymnastics team and we have three emelie :P and neither of them have a nickname so it's always emelie b or emelie s or emelie a :/ we also have four emma. we used to have six though hehe and we have 3 sara. my name is frida karin elisabeth.. frida is also a very common name here. i don't like the name karin much all the girls in my family have elisabeth as a middle name, my mom, sisters, grandmother, aunt, cousins and so on..i don't know why though.. |

| My actual name is the same actual name "Manda" ^ has. :P I just don't like to use it online I guess. And my first+middle name mean "loving star" in portugese. ^_^ My last name, however, means an animals (no not horses') head in dutch. And it's misconfused for policemen at times too. Enough overly random facts? :P |

I wanted to be a reporter and even if that doesn't mean being on T.V. at times it could at least mean speaking in front of crowds and I really wanted to speak clearly, so I started working on that when I was around 12/13 just because I decided to. Mostly I think I don't have an accent now- there is this tape of me singing when I was about 7, man did it sound country : P Hah. I have lots of Texas pride (there are hundreds of Californians who hope never to see me again, ask them) I just didn't think my accent was going to work to my best advantage in where I wanted to go. Now I'm not too keen on the whole reporting thing, though. I still have an accent- there are things I can't say without really slowing down while speaking (if I say, 'jail cell' without slowing I say, 'jail sail', and I once said, '(it) has a tail as wail' instead of 'tail as well'). I also sometimes sound southern when I get mad, according to my California-born-and-bred manfriend. |
