Im not offended by nudity in the least, but I like to browse this site while at work. If we had nudity, I wouldn't be able to do that anymore, so I vote for it stay the way it is. |

Although I just said I'm in for the tasteful nudity I agree with Linda, if there are people who visit this site regularly that are offended by nudity or who get in trouble because of it, (and I just saw there are many) we should stick to what it is now. |

I like NOT seeing nudity. Even if it's tasteful, I myself am uncomfortable seeing myself in the nude, let alone other people. Heh. |

If it was all me that I would be seeing I'd be totally cool with it ; ) hehehehe I just lack interest in seeing random naked people.
I'm here all of the time and love this site so much! I feel like if people want to see nakedness that's something that people should have to seek out rather than have to make efforts to avoid, y'know? |

Agree with you.
I myself don't mind tasteful nudity, but then I'm 20, but I want this to be a place for everyone even if they're twelve or thirty ... ¨
I'm actually more offended by some vexels with lots of blood and such ... (Not all of them, but some I just don't like at all :/ )
But .. leaving it the way it is still allow us to upload girls in bikinis and males with naked chests?

Leave it the way it is, I guess. ( I can't get to the first page of this topic because of my stupid internet filter, so I don't really know what's been discussed. =/ ) |

I say tasteful nuditiy or keep it to like a minimum...like they should only be allowed to vexel certain things. Like, womens breast I think should be allowed...unless it's like porn...It's like art. In art there are many forms of nudity and the thing is, when looking at naked art, it's being mature...it's just art. So, I said tasteful nudity! |

you could have it so in completly filters out nudity, there should be a little check mark when you go to submit a vexel, if it has nudity than check it. Then in your account you can choose to show it or choose not to. I don't know if thats whats being said but it seems a lot simpler and that way everyone gets what they want.
now that's the best idea i've heard in this whole discussion.

for me it depends...
to porn-addicts tasteful means two Double-D's with a little thong to cover the .. other area
To mature people, they understand tasteful.. Its like being in an art museum.
But you know if you have a mature content thing then someone's going to come out with something completely ugh.
I vote to not change it, because no one's ever complained about vexelling nude people, and if they want to... go post it on DA. Its less troubling that way

Why don't we have an option where we can turn it off when we want? And people that have nudity in their vexels can check a box that says it has nudity, like on dA. |

I agree with most of the people, I think the tasteful nudity and the porn should be allowed with the warning before view. |

i like the way it is now, i mean id love to see vexel'd artistic nudes but im sure people would start vexeling pages ouyt of hustler and calling them tasteful, so i voted for it to stay the same. |

Maybe there can be a check box you can have when submitting and if it has any bit of nudity content, then the thumbnail can say the warning or something, this way people know? |

Or maybe with pieces that have nudity in them, the creator has to submit a thumbnail that doesn't show the nudity? I think DA does that. It's nice for viewing in the workplace :) It could maybe have a small "MA" on it for Mature Audience?
Im just trying to think of a compromise. |

Maybe - even with the tasteful Nudity, Members can add a comment in the title of the post that it includes some nudity.
That way no one will end up on a screen with nakedness when their mom or Boss are standing in view of the screen. |

she has a good point...im in for the tasteful nudity. i mean if you dont want to see it, than dont view it....a nipple hear and there isnt bad, but there are some young ass kids on this site. i dunno its tuff people now and days are really touchy about nudity, but if it were up to me i'd say screw it and bring on the nudity...i mean tasteful nudity...lol...

Its not just about people at work but also about younger people and young-ish people who have their computers where their parents can see and might get in trouble. If I allow it, it would be an option and by default you wouldnt be able to see any nudity unless you sign up and click to allow it. |

With the warning.. where does the warning go? In DA, I only really notice a warning in the description area but that's kind of pointless.. the image has already loaded and is on your screen. Maybe I'm missing something though..
well the image doesnt load if the computers been set up for children etc with restrictions on content. i found this out through dA when on my computer the image loads and the description warns yu, but when i was on my little brothers computer the image was replaced with some kind of restriction banner thing saying i couldnt view it...dunno how im sure its to do with internet options/settings

I think as long as its tasteful it should be allowed...I mean some people really do take vexels to a whole new level, it can be very atristic...but It sucks when Inspiration hits you and you cant do it because a little bit of breast is exposed :(
but tasteful nudity is all around us, when little kids go to the museam(sp?) they dont cover up all the nipples in the gallery...if people dont want to look at an image that has been marked as "showing nudity" then they dont have to look at it...nobody will be forced to look...
I just thought of somthing else...just because an image shows nudity does not mean it will be a bad image, I know alot of images on here look a little slutty, and if the kids can look at those and not get in trouble whats the big deal with having artistic nudity...expessially if its filtered...
I dont know...not allowing it doesnt make much sense to me, since Im for freedom of speech in every way...
and again, for those who dont want to see it...filter it out, dont click on it...and its like its not even there...so why would they care... |

I'd like to keep it the way it is. My computer is outside in our living room. If www.vexels.net had nude vexels and my mom saw it, she'll yell at me and ban me from the computer. lol |

i think tastefull nudity is good.. artistic and so.. not like.. "ohh here looki loooki at my boobies" or something like that...
but as many have said.. some kind of note before you open the pic and so... (feels guilty 'coz i added a vexel where hair covers nippels and so... (but i i also extended the hair so that it COULD cover the nipples because i didnt want it to be pr0n) |

Well for someone people there is a difference.. or for some peoples parents. I could imagine they get paranoid seeing any type of nudity, artistic or not. :P And there is a difference between nudity and sluttyness.
