The Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath - all time favorite book.
The Shining by Stephen King. I also love The Mist, a short story, by him.
The Last Vampire Series by Christopher Pike. He technically writes young adult books, and I did get into these books when I was a teen, but I still think they're written well and I just love the series.
Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut - satire at it's best.

Obviously Harry Potter. I've actually read so many books it's hard to choose. I read a lot of books this year in my AP Language class. I think my favorite this year would probably be The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. |

There's so many books I love, it's hard to choose just a phew.
Alice In Wonderland and Trough the Looking Glass: I know, it's a children book, but I just love it. It's so full of secrets, and I've read it well over 40 times since my childhood.
Confederacy of Dunces is an awesome book too. Very funny.
Madame Bovary is great, very deep and interesting
I also love most of Herman Hesse's and Virginia Woolf's book's. Yasunari Kawabata is also a great writer.
I think I'll edit this post when I remember some more. I just really love so many books <3 |
