Hi everyone ! I'm new and don't know much about vexels.I only know that i really like the vexels and want to make them by myself. I have Photoshop CS 2,Illustrator CS and CorelDraw Graphic Suite 12. Please give me some advice and tell me what to use.. Please help me :( !! |

There is a button at the top of the page called 'Tutorials'. I would recommend reading some of those, and then asking for more specific help after that. It's a little hard to explain how to start, but Im sure those will help! :) |

I use Photoshop, but a lot of people use Ilustrator, so.. it's your choice.
And yes, look at the tutorialpage and ofcourse the tips! =) |

I've worked in all three programs. Personally, I find Illlustrator usually produces the best outcomes, but Photoshop is easiest to understand and had really good outcomes as well. I usually use Photoshop. I've used Corel Draw and hated it. What I made looked literally like crap, but there are people (like VinA [check her out]) who can work very well in Corel. So use whatever program you're most comfortable with, but the tutorials are mostly in PS, PSP, or Illustrator, and none in Corel.
But you can use the pen tool (recommended) or the lasso tool. There are various way of actually making a vexel, which you'll have to explore by reading some of the tutorials. |
