Ok I have done 4 vexels so far. And all are quite choppy (like the one above^) I liked them that way tho. But now I want to make ones with smoother skin so how should I go about this?

all you have to do (sounds like its gonna be easy but really its not lol) is add more layers between the ones youve already got, of course always lighter / darker (depending on the picture) than the one above, does that make sense?
ps: you have a very nice vexeling-style!

yeah your vexels are choppy, but i accually sorta like how there choppy, but anyways.. what i do to make my vexels less choppy is put transitions between each layer.. its VERY helpful, also what tool do you use?

well I posterized my layers then traced them with the pen tool I didnt blur them or anything thats why they look that way. I just grabbed the colors from the posterized picture then colorized them later because im exstreamly bad at picking out skin colors and colorizing them was much quicker and easier for me.

I figured that would probably work to but then it would double the time it takes me to complete them. lol Im gonna try that well Im gonna do part of a face and see how that works. Thanx 4 the tipsand compliment!

yer and lowering the opacity of layers is good too... adding transition layers and changing opacitys to make it all blend in...

what exactly do you mean by transition layer? So if i lower the opacity i should have a layer in the shape of the face neck etc every where theres skin so there will be something behind that. right?

well its more or less what everyone has been talkin about layers in between the layers you have already but with like 50% opacity !!!
Yes to lower opacitys you need a base layer do you cant see the background this is just meerly and the shape of the face in the skin tone you want...
now whats the font that you used for chanel lol
