I'm trying to use illustrator, just for fun :D
But the main problems I have are that whenever I create a shape this one goes to the top of the layer I'm using. Is there any way to change that ??
The other problem is that when I want to stop selecting a shape I just finished and I press Ctrl+Click (like on PS), it automatically redirects me to the first layer again. Is there any way to stop selecting a shape without going to the first layer ??
I'm not sure if I'm making too much sence :/ |

The main problem -- you right click on the shape, the menu should have something like "arrange", go into that and there should be a "move to back/front/forward/etc". (There's a shortcut for it, I forgot what, but it should be listed on the menu.)
Deselect is shift+ctrl+alt+A in Illustrator... I'm not sure if I get your question though. XD |

When you ctrl+click, you have to make sure every other layer is locked or else you'll go back to the first layer. Lock every layer after you're finished with it, make it a habit. If you want to edit it, then just unlock it. |

ahh yea illustrator is what I use all the time. the shortcut to send a shape to the back on my program is Ctrl + Shift + [. but if u wanna change your keys to make your own short cuts, go to
Edit >> Keyboard Shortcuts.
hope that helps =) |
