I just saw this movie and I must say it is about the stupidest movie I have ever seen in my entire life (well except for The Perfect Man...that is an entirly different story) Sarah Jessica Parker was a complete ditz! I mean at the end when she was on the boat shes jumped up in the air when he, Tripp, brought up the Wine and squirted it (you know made it fizz) shes like "WOW IVE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE" and then the dolphin comes and shes like "WOW THATS AMAZING" shes a fricken psyco! no one acts like that.

The other thing that really makes me mad about this movie is the lack of anger (except from that one roomate girl) but like if someone dropped me from a cliff I would be pissed! and angry. Oh but then Tripp gets mad when his parents want him out? Dude your 35 years old! Move on, the engaged woman was a lame fricken excuse I mean sure its really sad and you would ahve your greeving time but damn! Why would you need to live with your parents anyways?

I honostly did not like this movie at all lol :D Matthew Mcconaughey was really hot though.

The Perfect Man was really stupid... god, it was soo stupid. And also 'Sky High'. That was the stupidest.

I think that the plot is pretty silly. I mean, what kind of woman has a job like that?

AGREED 110% .. i went to see it for a friend's birthday... it's about the crappiest movie i've ever seen. You know what was the most interesting about the movie? KIT's (is that the black-hair-blue-eyed-girl's name?) HAPPENINGS! cause seriously that whole thing between sarah jessica parker and the other dude was soo effin boring... not funny (the effect of animals were the shittiest EVER).. and just ugh. And you know what i thought of the whole time when i saw it? HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS. but not in a 'goodness' similarity.. we're talking about failuyre to launch basically taking the exact same plot as "how to lose a guy.."!! Cause think about it: In "failure to launch" the guy tries to get rid of the girl, and the girl wants to get rid of the guy once she finishes her job.. somehow part of them falls fo reachother but stuff happens and they find out about what they'e been hiding about eachother.. and but in the end they still end together. And although "how to lose a guy.." was still humorous and slightly original.. failure to launch was just soooo damn crap.

I thought Kit's happenings were funny lol. 'I tripped'. Everything else was really boring.
