I have been looking at your amazing vexel projects and I must say i'm very impressed. I've never had a run at anything like this and I was wondering if you think this would be a bad picture to use.

Its' a picture of me and I was wanting to make it for a logo on my site...

Your opinions please, thank you.

i don't think it's a HORRIBLE picture. the lighting's decent enough. you maybe have a problem with it looking a bit washed out, though. goodluck!

I think it's pretty suitable for vexelling. :) However, if it's your first vexel you might have some problems with it; because of the pose, shadows and hat it's - in my opinion - not an easy picture. But hey, just have a go at it, that's the only way to find out if it's going to work for you!

You could try it grey scale first and if that goes well try it in colour, i tend to use greyscale before i attempt it in colour so i can get an idea of what the outcome will be :)

Ha you look like a chav :O sorry lol

Yep I didn't know for a long time either. I imagine they're kinda like what we call 'aso', I mean where they stand in society and how they're looked upon. :P But then our aso's don't have a dresscode. ;)

Uhm.. i'm no Chav, i'm 16, alot more than 4 ft tall, and I don't wear my hat sideways.

I just happen to have a few skate shirts.

I might give it a run soon :)

when you say logo, do you mean vexel, or actual logo? because if you mean vexel, yeah you can do it it would be challenging but do able. If you say logo like simplistic and graphical , idont think thats a good picture for a logo.

Eeek the image only loads a quarter for me..... *bummer* hehe

As for the hat..... that'd be prety hard with the lighting being like.. everywhere on it.

i don't think it'd be too hard to vexel, but like artisticdork said, it wouldn't make a great logo because of the position of your arm. since it runs off the side of the picture it'd be hard to put the image in anything but a box.

I had not really an idea about it, but I did some tests (you know, those stupid tests on the internet hehe) and I'm nothing like that, so I thought maybe they're popular people or something =P

Why don't you start out with a picture that's easier to vexel?
