^ The title says it all.

Which do you prefer?

I love them both equally, cause even though they base on the same thing: the lives of people aged around 17-19... they're way of telling the story and stories/settings itself are pretty different, so they both have good stuff. <3

I would have to say the OC, because I saw it before OTH. Actually, I only saw the pilot of OTH and a few after that, it didn't really interest me.

The OC by far! It's the only series of it's kind that I've actually gotten into. It's amazing that I know all of the soapopera-ish complicated relationships and everything...
"Well, that's Ryan, he almost ended up in jail, but then the Cohen family sort of 'adopted' him. He dates Marissa, they used to live next door to the Cohens, and her mother was married to Kirsten father. And that Summer--" "OK, just shut up" :P

I've seen only 1 episode of the OC, it's not all that interesting to me.

OC! <.< >.> RYAN! Need i say more? XD Cowen is really cute tew. OUF I SAY OOOUF! Well, I didn't like it very much when Ryan and Marissa were not together, and they made her a lesbian, because she belongs with Ryan. I would not have minded if her and that girl were good, but yeah her+ Ryan= love

Neither, I hate shows like that. Too much drama.. I especially am disgusted (yes, really) by The OC, yugh.. The comercial said something like: He's poor, she's rich, what in the world should they do, this relationship will be impossible..
Yeah right, it just broke my heart =/

And that name; Summer??? What kind of girly girl name is that anyway?

OTH isn't even on here. I don't think it'll ever get translated into German. But I don't mind. I don't think I miss anything at all.

I hated OC first. I thought it was 100% dumb and ... gah! Soap-opera like. But it's quite entertaining as long as noone takes it too serious. Seth is great. I loooooooove his jokes and..awesome. But still I don't think that OC is very deep going, which I usually don't like.

Anyways - for me it's The OC.

He, just wondering, since your German, don't you hate it that everything always gets translated into German? I'm sooo relieved we just get subtitles here =P
Just curious, since I can also get German tv, like Vox or something? And they have the best tvshows, but all in German.. I understand it though, but it really annoys me that they all have different voices and stuff.

Aw I do. But I got many friends and relatives in the US and stuff so they send me DVDs and so on. I prefer english TV, so I'm really glad I have MTV where they just add subtitles as well. I'd love to have it the same way as you have. ); But therefore too less people really understand english. ( Most of them speak worse english than I do, imagne that! And mines already crappy... LOOOL... (I )
And the voices they take (German) suck. They sound so dump and unrealistic and.. gah. They just don't fit. Especially when you know how the actors really sound like. Although I have to admit that the german voice of Adam Brody is way better than his real one. Well, not exactly "better" but his english voice really sounds... funny. xDDD
I do get what you mean. And as I said, I'd love to get the shows in english as well. );

Haha =P

I'm a (big big big big, the biggest) Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan, and on the dvd's they also have the French and German version. So sometimes I watch it in another language, just for fun =P

But I know what you mean about the unrealistic voices. Usually they do translate kids movies into Dutch (in movieheaters there are always two version of kids movies, English and Dutch), which sounds really weird too. Especially when you know how the actual voices sound..

Adam Brody is the guy who also played Dave on the Gilmore Girls right? His voice does sound kinda funny, but in a good way =P

I used to hate buffy. then i loved it, but only because of drusilla, faith and oz. they left and so did my interest for the show.

ja,... well thank god i can at least watch movies in the cinema in the orignal language! i do almost every time i go there. xD

jip. dave. xD
all my friends who watched the show in english with me called him the gay-guy because of his voice. but just for fun, he's a cute. LOL

well, it could be like 90210... going to college! and ending with someone getting married. ``P man, though, i have not seen the OC in the longest time. i don't really know what's going on anymore. ``/

Oh, god, I hate both the OC and OTH. Mainly it's because I live in the OC, so I know it's a load of bull. Even someone I met from Japan thinks it's bull...

Although, I have to admit, Adam Brody is cute. I can't understand the obsession over Ben MacKenzie, though.

let's just say they're both in their third season, and OC is a hell of a lot more boring than OTH <3
