Hello all, My name is Brian and i'm new to this stuff, i have my first piece up and i hope to learn new techniques here, and i see more new works. As of right now i am only using photoshop, and i'm not that great with the pen tool yet, i' kinda of just clicking at random. Thats how i feel when i'm making the shapes. I hope someone can explain to me how to use illustrator to make the finer gradients of possible, or even better if it is possible todo the same in photoshop.

thanks, Brian

Give me you email address and i'll post it and send you the address to download it. It's a work in progress, so when I update it, I'll repost it.

Brian it might be a pain at first to use Illustrator and take awhile to get use to it, but being different than PhotoShop it takes a while to get use to, but you will like it. I started a help file with a few things in it I could post it and you could download it. I'll be adding more in it as I go. There is a gradient mesh tool in Illustrator (like a grid) you can adjust the grid, as if you were making a curtain or a dress, once you move all the points then you apply the graient to each of the point to make that shadow. Hard to explain but I have that in there to.

You should put just your first name in the bio section, so I know your name when I comment. Unless you want to remain a mystery then by all means don't.
That's a very good first try, your well on your way so keep it up. This is amazing!
