| Okay, so this took me FOREVER. This is my fifth vexel and I wanted this to be different from my past amateur vexels; so I actually spent time on this one. Haha. The picture was so complicated because of the lighting, I thought I was going to die because im not a patient person so I was always getting distracted. Anyways I'm pretty proud of this because it is so much better than my past vexels. I really like the hair especially. Anyways, I left the hand because I got SOOOO lazy so.. it's incomplete which makes me sad. However, I'll get to it sooner or later. Haha. Alrighty critiques please and thank you. ;] |

very good - i wonder if you vectorized it completly (instead of the hand) or does it have a fixed resolution? if it's the first, make a mask around the arms and face a.s.o. and use the blurfilter of illustrator or Freehand to make some parts a bit smoother <-- my fav way of illustrating realistic because it looks so real if you*re doing right - if it's the second try to use the smudge tool in Photoshop. greets

You have a different style and it pairs up beautifully with this picture. The style + colors kind of create this rugged, vintage look. I love it! The hair is perfect. I'm glad you didn't smooth out your shapes... it would've totally killed the effect. (I'm not saying you shouldn't try the smooth style in the future, just htat it's so good with this one!) EDIT--is the hand vexelled? No offense but, it just looks.. differenttt... EDIT2--Oh no sorry, I'm the stupid one. I didn't read the description right -_- hahaa

HAha yeah it is hand vexeled but im still an amateur so its not very smooth haha. And i was thinking about how rugged it looked but i thought it suited it. My next one hopefully ill be able to to be more ... skillful? Haha. Yeah. ---edit--- wow just kidding didn't read your comment right. ugh stupid. haha. as i said in the description, the hand isnt vexeled because i got really lazy. haha -.- but ill get to it... eventually. haha. |

Wow I just love this! Your style of shading is awesome. The hair is great and the way you did the red light reflection type thing.. just great :)

Lindsey Lohan needs a few buffets. :x I dont like her personally. But I like this. :D Good job, at first I couldn't see the hand wasn't vexeled untill I looked at the grey part XD
