i really really love the plasticy effect you went for. she really does look like a doll! i don't know if this was intentional, but her face kind of looks hand painted :P its neat i would suggest adding some more highlights to the bottom half of her though :P there seems to be lots of highlights on her neck and up, but the rest is a little bit too flat

very nice :) for a first i think u should maybe try adding some more layers to it and maybe adjusting the transparencies:)
