Hi everyone, I'm a Fine Art undergraduate who has recently discovered vectoring and vexals. I've mastered Photoshop and have begun experimenting with Illustrator, and this website has been inpirational.
This is my second ever vexal piece. I've applied the shapes and colous the way I would paint them.
Although I think some parts are strong, I think other parts are weak. Can anyone leave any feedback on this?
I absolutely love this. Excellent work! I especially like the facial hair, lips and eyes.
The only constructive criticism I can give is that the shading should blend more so it flows better. As someone said before, fiddle around with different opacities and maybe even different layers.
It looks very much like him. May I suggest for next time though playing around with the opacity so it sort of blends better? Nice job though. Looks exactly like him

Anytime :)

Thanks, I've gone back to this file to play around with the opacity levels... can't believe i missed that feature in Illustrator!!!!... will make my life much easier now!
I like the way you made the facial hair, and the colours. It looks very nice. Also, the choppy shapes generally work well but sometimes I think they could use a little more definement. Like they should flow a little more. But other than that.. it's fantastic for your second!
No problem! And thank you. :)

Thanks
