His skin is a little strange color-wise (but then again, it was in the movie...) and I don't know if I like the way the eyes and mouth are very cartoon-y but the rest of the vexel isn't. The background is awesome, thoguh, as well as the jacket. |

Great Style! Unlike the others, I think the skin color is chosen well because the background assumes it's nighttime and there's no sun shining on him, and everyone's skin color changes in evening light - as well as nearbly colors reflect off the skin (the sky is similar to the skin color, which explains that). So although it's not the typical skin color, I think you chose it for the right reasons. I do think his teeth are too white (even though his teeth are really white in that movie - I feel they're still too white). I really adore the sky as well :)

I really like this, it has that "magic" feel. I really love the fabric, it does look like fabric. And the colors are lovely, they have a vintage look. But yeah, the skin color looks a bit odd, and it looks like he has a black eye.

yeah as i said, the eyes r terrible :)

Yeah, indeed like brushel!!! =PPPP
The only thing I dont really like is, the skin colour on the face. Its a bit too yellow, IMO.
Still, I like the style and I wanna seee mooorreeee ;)

i did play around with the color balance
and i thought yellowish would match the mood of the whole scene

Hm.. You are very good at this, but I did'nt like it very much..
But it was cool :)
PS: The jacket rules!
Reply from OwaikeO
neither do i,
although i spent a lot of time on it
the orginal pic was crap and tiny
and i enlarged it to an A3 size
so it lost its quality specially on the eyes
so i wasn imaginative enough to make it right

; ) I wouldn't say it looks like an airbrush. Kind of like a.. a brushel, a vexbrush. Bwahahaha. I'm a little bored. Hmm. I agree with Berit (yellow) that it doesn't look like Johnny Depp but it still looks cool. The gloves and clothes are aaweeesome. I don't like the jacket very much because it doesn't seem to really 'go' with the rest of the stuff stylewise, but just barely.

ur right, its like merging all existing styles
which dosent always result well

Intresting. And it looks quite good except for if you wanted to make him look like Johnny Depp. If this is supposed to be Willy Wonka and not related to Johnny Depp its great but I don't think it looks like Johnny at all. Anyway, interesting Style! I'm looking forward to seeing more!! (;

yep i agree as well,

It does look kind of airbrush-y. This is an airbrush, not a vexel...
The lineart is beautiful, you made it look like him :).
Reply from OwaikeO
the head and gloves are 100$ vexel
the rest is basicly burn/dodge, which is not brushing or airbrushing :)
