No critique? Then why did you enable comments?
--
Critique's what you're going to get if you have comments enabled.
So, what? You want someone to tell you they don't particularly like it, but then not tell you why or how to improve it? It really does defeat the purpose.
--
That's just conceited. I could find plenty of things to talk about, but since you don't want it .. your loss.

because I want comments on how you think the vexel looks. gosh enabling comments isn't only for critique.
if i said "no critique" and someone doesn't like it, then wouldn't it be more logical to think that that person wouldn't comment at all? and in fact, i don't think there's much to improve on this particular piece because i knew what i was doing when i was making it and i'm perfectly satisfied with it. and besides, i don't believe there are actual flaws.

I like it. And I also like the shadow under her arm. <3 The background is great as well, I only wish this wasn't Devon because as I said in the progression topic I really dislike her. Dunno why. xD Still, the vexel is beautiful - different from others as well. |

WOW! Amazing :) Really love the soft feel over it, and well, the pose.. the only thing I dont like is the shadow of the arm.. its a bit too pointy.. imo. |

Ah yes, the white cliffs of Dover :) My Dad was in the air force and brought me back a rock from there, I still have it. I really love the minimal shading and washed out look, it really relates to the poem.

Is that a shadow under her arm or is it a halter top? I thought it was a shadow at first and then thought it was a halter. If it's a shadow is there something else besides her arm causing it that isn't in the vexel? That's confusing. Otherwise it's beautiful.

Critique only makes you a better artist, everyone should be thankful for those who accept it that way.
However, this is really good :) |
