| A Letter to Dominique |
This is a vexel of Jason Hill from Louis XIV. I was just experimenting with style. The shapes are really chunky. I like the iris and the hair.
I used PSPX and the pen tool. DIdn't take too long.. seven hours or so? 96 layers.
I only used TWO colours... pure black and pure white at varying opacities (a lot of them are at about 5% or so). I just wanted to see what kind of vexel this technique would produce. Voila! I think once I get a bit better, I'll reattempt this style with a different image. I'm still learning.
The lyrics around are "A Letter to Dominique" by the band Louis XIV. The hottie pictured is Jason Hill, the lead singer of the band. (I would have done his whole face but it cuts off at that part) |

The border bothers me. The skin is okay, but it's a bit choppy. I like the eye :). |
