if you take out the base layer from your vexels, is that what you are left with? because a finished vexel should have none of the original work visible. if you get what i mean...

sorry if i'm wrong, and that image is truly 100% vexelled. sometimes i just can't tell. *shrug*

to be really honest, it doesnt look like the hair was vexels at all. Are you using the pen tool or brushes? like ^ffan said, the lines could be a little bit softer/

The quaility of the image looks really blurry, I cant really see what is vexeled on her, but I can tell what you didnt vexel.
I know that I am not the best vexeler either, but I think since you seem to be practicing all the time, try to practice shading in color. I say using color so then when its time for you to do a grayscale image, the grey colors are easy for you to do when you are doing lighting in her hair, eyes, skin, and lips. All that is important. I think you have the lighting technique down and everything, but you didnt finish the image. Try doing an image with a light skin color, and an image with a fair dark image-not black or grey, maybe light brownish-tan/

Im looking in your portfolio and i noticed that you are using PSP8. I dont use PSP but some people who use PSP8 do a WONDERFUL job. All I am saying is that you have a programs that just makes images LOOK BEAUTIFUL! Try this tutorial for PSP on angelina j.

I know I am not the BEST vexeler in the world, but I do remember when I first started, I was making those same mistakes as you are.
Anyway, she did a good job and I think you can to! Take care!
