Storm

This is what we have waited for so long. The wind's first dusty bloom is on the upturned earth at last, the window's light is that forecast shade of grey we have seen before outside our disappointed room.

After nearly a week of procrastination, tantrums and an aching hand, 'Storm' was completed. I think it may have been a combination of watching X-men and other fantasy movies that inspired this. (yes, I am a geek!) I quite like it to death probably because of the long hours looking at it!!

I have to say, I found this image extremely difficult but I enjoyed the challenge. The arms and other little details have been manipulated for a more 'magical' appeal and I even poorly attempted to make those cool 'fantasy' backgrounds you see in anime. I hope I didn't stuff the whole thing up (LoL, look at the clouds!)

Most challenging part - the hair and dress definitely. I would have finished this in a day if I didn't sit around humming and haaing about whether I should make the dress solid black or coloured. I picked colour ^_^

Most enjoyable bit - The face and makeup, I loved adding sparkles everywhere!

I really hope you guys like it! I am now going to sleep for a few days to make up for the hours on this :]
